From the historic Alsace region comes Lucien Albrecht. This 18th generation winery has rapidly grown to be the no. 2 imported Alsace producer in the U.S. with their Pinot Gris, one of the most popular wines in the portfolio. Lucien Albrecht Pinot Gris R?serve ?Romanus? This wine, made 100% from Pinot Gris, expresses the rich yet dry power and character of this exceptional varietal. The clay/limestone soil gives a creamy, velvety taste with a long finish.

Wine Enthusiast ReviewRated 92 EDITORS CHOICENails the textural element of Pinot Gris, dealing pear, melon, honey and citrus scents, then a rich, thickly textured mouthfeel. Tastes like peach and pear nectar, without being simply fruity, backed by a river of liquid minerals and a subtle nuttiness.
