Lucien Albrecht Pinot Gris Alsace Aoc Cuvée Romanus 2009

Member Review by Kyle Graynor:

Relaxing apple and citrusy aromas. Smooth, buttery, and slightly acidic, with quite a kick of sweetness, this wine is great to drink by itself

Highly aromatic peach, white grape, honey and melon aromas -- very floral as well. Syrupy palate with lots of sweetness on the attack, honeyed and smooth. It's a dry wine that wants to be a sweet wine, finishes dark and earthy. Very interesting.

If I am going to say "OMG" to a wine, this would be it...beautiful peach aromas interlaced with some ripe pear that soothes the palette, which is subtly sweet. Finish is a bit zesty but still smooth as silk.
