Rich, viscous and dark red in color, this wine smoothers the nostrils with wild blueberry, black mountain bilberry and soft cake spices. Very firm and holding together well with just a hint of oak and warmth (alcohol). Smooth blueberry cordial and a hint of browned butter going down. The finish is long and reminiscent of some pure Merlot varietals from Napa. One of the best from the 2007 vintage so far.
