Very strong wine that definitely only goes with certain dishes. In fact, it might be better to just sit on the patio and drink alone. Absolutely delicious wine that is not for the casual drinker.

The 2006 Shiraz contains 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Sixty percent of the fruit was sourced from Barossa Valley and 40% from McLaren Vale. It was aged for 12 months in seasoned French and American oak. A glass-coating opaque purple, it features first-class aromas of spice box, cedar, mocha, lavender, and blueberry. Velvety-textured, fruit-driven, and intense, the wine has excellent depth of flavor and a long finish. It is a fabulous value. - Wine Advocate
