Lucas Vineyards Dry Riesling 2010

Member Review by Rob Cutmore:

Tart granny smith apple flavor, easy drinking. Flavors more on the subdued side.

Bright floral and subtle apricot meets steely mineral and ime flavors in this dry style Riesling. An elegant pairing with roasted white meats and vegetables or Asian cuisine. - Winery

Ripe and forward, with anise, apple and pear notes backed by a broad, soft finish. This has solid range, though lacks the vintage's typical zip.

Aromatic with notes of white peach, florals and just a whiff of petrol, this is fairly dry in style but softened by a gentle grapefruit and limeade sweetness. Finish clean with a refreshing stone and slate note.

Ripe and forward, with notes of apple, quince and green almond that stay juicy through the finish. Drink now.

Medium-weight and off-dry in feel, but with good cut to the McIntosh and anise notes. Round, plump finish. Drink now.
