Good mix of red and dark fruits, some meatiness and slightly peppery. Medium bodied, flavorful with a medium, somewhat subdued finish. Okay for the price, but generally underwhelming for a cab.

I liked it. I tasted a walnut and tobacco. I liked it very much with steak, but not at ALL with some mozzarella I tried it with.

A complex yet very approachable Cabernet, this bottle packs a lot of wine for a small price. Lush, round black fruit, plum and cherry flavors and nicely integrated spice give it mass appeal. Perfect if you do not want to break the bank but still want to be the hero of your next party.

This dense, juicy cabernet sparkles like a black ruby, its simple lines cut by fresh and lively flavors. Solidly built and pleasing, this will go easily with most anything meaty.

Tight, chewy and earthy. Full-bodied and complex, offering a mix of earthy currant, anise and dried berry fruit that ends up on the dry and tannic side. Drink now through 2014.

Consistently one of the best values in domestic Cab, Louis M. Martini showcases a myriad of flavors, starting with flavors of ripe raspberry, cherry, tobacco, and hints of spice, complemented by a solid backbone of tannins that holds it all together.
