Food Pairings for Louis Latour Romanee St. Vivant les Quatre Journaux
Romanee St. Vivant is an illustrious Grand Cru vineyard in the Vosne Romanee village in the Cote de Nuits, Burgundy. Louis Latour is one of the most famous Burgundian producers, and his 2009 Romanee St. Vivant shows great complexity with spice, fresh berries with an elegant structure and a long, pure and superb finish. "This ripe, lush red displays cherry and blackberry aromas and flavors, picking up hints of clove, vanilla and licorice as this glides to a long finish. There's a sweetness at the core, yet also firm tannins. The impression is one of ripe fruit. *93 points*"Wine Spectator
