Served this blind I would have guessed a Kiwi East coast chardonnay such as Matua or Nobilo. In its price range it is right in there. Good chardonnay character, not over-oaked and all round pleasant, if you let it air out in the glass for awhile. Right out of the bottle there is some residual sulfur but it disappears.
