Louis Latour Bourgogne Aligoté 2007
Wonderful herbal and citric aroma, with hints of basil and rosemary, lush pineapple flavors without too much acidity, really a pitch-perfect backbone. Mildly buttery finish.
A bit of banana and cream on the nose. Nutty, crisp, oaky, with some vanilla and cream. Good, fresh acidity.
prominent aromas of lemon and limes, highly acidic, but terrific balance of citrus fruit flavors - a prickly pear and mineral like finish.
Rich and emollient. A nice mineral finish. Very good and complex with great minerality. Finishes on red apples and lemon notes. My #2 of the tasting (of 6 chardonnay's).
