This charming wine has ripe fruit aromas and its spicy nature was conferred by the 12 months it spent in oak barrels. Somewhat vanilla, and also liquorice, this complex wine is round yet mellow. A well balanced wine that should be enjoyed after three to five years of cellaring. Tasted January 2007
