Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

User Reviews for Louis Jadot Pommard

Winemaker's Notes:

The fermentation takes place in tanks during 3-4 weeks, after which they are aged in barrel for 12-15 months before being bottled. 100% Pinot Noir grapes Pommard can only be red. There is no grand cru wines. The quite clayey calcareous soil gives Pommard some quite original qualities : a lot of colour, deep red black, intense and pungent bouquet of blackcurrants, musk and game meat.
