External Reviews for Louis Jadot Meursault
Classic white Burgundy from Louis Jadot. Jadot Meursault is 100% fermented in wooden barrels and aged 15 months in the barrels before bottling. It has a fragrant, ripe, full bouquet. On the palate it has a generous, supple texture and the distinctive hazelnut and spice nuances which carry into a persistent finish of great finesse.
With its flavors of caramelized lemon and warmed fresh almonds this is a gentle round and simple Meursault its nut-scented fruit suited to Cantonese crab with ginger and garlic. Wine & Spirits.
The 2009 Meursault is a gorgeous wine at this level. It shows marvelous harmony in a round, supple style well suited to near-term drinking. I find it amazing that Jadot produced a whopping 330 barrels of this wine, an enormity by Burgundian standards... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate.
