Meaty, earthy/loamy pinot, which a good burgundy tends to carry with the rich floral and strawberry flavors and aromas. A nice pinot with some ummph to it.

The village wines of Gevrey-Chambertin are produced from vineyards lying on the extension of the slope on which the grands and premiers crus are situated. These vineyards vary considerably in quality, and the name of the producer is thus more important here than elsewhere. Maison Louis Jadot vinifies the production of growers with whom it holds purchase agreements based on the harvest's quality each year.
