This was quite a complete bottle with it's beguiling nose offering up intriguing citrus and menthol notes that slowly morphed into very primary gooseberry and huckleberry notes. Integrated and round in the mouth this is richly fruited with dark berry notes supported by solid acidity and lots of ripe tannins lurking. Long finish of sour cherry, raspberry and strawberry with stunning purity and sneaky length this really shines on the finish leading me to think that this can only improve and will by breathtaking with it's zesty berry fruit full revealed but even at this stage there is lovely bottle sweetness. Drink this anytime from 2008-2020
