Pretty, airy and ripe moderately high-toned red and black berry fruit aromas that combine with lush, rich, supple and nicely detailed flavors that culminate in a chewy and delicious finish. This deeply colored wine is redolent of red berries and is full-bodied yet delicate with a silky finish—unique characteristics imparted by the soil of Chambolle-Musigny. The wine develops aromas of undergrowth when older. It will develop in the bottle for 10 to 12 years. Pair with delicate dishes that are not too spicy, including red meat in sauces, game and medium-strong cheeses.
