User Reviews for Louis Jadot Beaune Boucherottes

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2009 Boucherottes from Louis Jadot is the finest young vintage of this cru that I can recall ever tasting here. The nose is deep, pure and very vibrant, as it jumps from the glass in a blend of black cherries, dark berries, complex soil tones, woodsmoke, fresh herbs and a touch of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very long, with great focus and balance, ripe, suave tannins and great bounce from sound acids on the long and intensely flavored finish. The backend of this wine is stunning, as it really takes off from the mid-palate back. Great juice. 2020-2060. 93." John Gilman a View from the Cellar 1/11 "The Boucherottes has a ripe, more citrus-driven bouquet with fine definition. The palate is well defined with fine tannins, very elegant and poised towards the finish with touches of red cherry and fresh strawberry. Very good delineation and sense of femininity. Lovely. Tasted January 2011...90" Neal Martin the Wine Journal eRobertParker.com
