The long maceration will allow a good extraction. The wine will have a good structure and will therefore be able to age several years. This Beaujolais Villages "Combe aux Jacques" must be drunk quite cool in order to protect the delicious aromas of fruit and the delicate freshness that characterize this wine. Ideal with delicatessen and Italian foods.

Lovely light yet flavorful wine. Tastes like you are drinking cherries. Wonderful!
Aromas of red fruit. Flavors of red cherry, strawberries, and a touch of pepper. Decent balance with nice acidity and only a hint of tannins- though a bit thin. Should be even better next year.

Good wine for a good price. Get this when you think you want the other Beaujolais in November. Easy drinking Gamay that is not a novelty. Goes with just about any food...try with roast chicken or pork.
Light, drinkable, a wine that I always remember and keep going back to (especially at such a great price). First had it with Thanksgiving dinner, then again the next week with veggie pizza. Possibilities are endless. It is very fresh, not too much acidity. One of my favorites.

Yes, I know Beaujolais Nouveau is out of favor, it's yesterday's wine. But this isn't Nouveau, this is the real stuff, the original up-front fruity wine. Made from Gamay grape, it's packed with strawberries, cherries, and soft, generous fruit. There's a slight earthy, mineral touch to it that stops it just being a fruit bomb, and turns it into an easy food wine, especially with salamis, sausages or burgers.
Dark cherry flavors balance a light, brisk acidity in this dry, earthy style of Beaujolais. The fruit flavors are gentle and restrained.

Strong red purple color. Fresh red fruits on the nose with a hint of dark cherry. Slightly spicy with a touch of grey pepper, liquorice and a touch of rose flower. The whole wine is very well balanced with a nice acidity and the tannins presence on the finish invites food pairings such as with Terrines, Charcuteries, Grilled red meat, white fish, cheese or simply as the sole wine of a meal.
