Winemaker's Notes:

Notes: Lot 311 has a luscious floral nose with notes of Jasmine, Honeysuckle and white peach coming through on the palate. Beautiful and bright, this is the perfect apertif. With some well balanced residual sugar and notable spritz (frizzante), the finish is impeccably clean and refreshing. In fact, this perfectly balanced Moscato is quite a pleasure after encountering some of the dark, syrupy Moscatos that do damage to a good, crisp Moscato's reputation. Cameron Confidential: After years of some of our top retail clients hounding us for a Moscato Lot, we've finally found one that we feel really offers the value that you've come to expect from the Lot Program. After tasting through (no joke) 100 different Moscato samples, we came across this gem. We immediately contacted the provider and worked a deal for two containers of this wine (layman's translation: A whole helluva lot) and an ongoing relationship. Their 23 Hectare vineyard shows dramatically steep limestone cliffs facing southward with great drainage. The resulting wine is delightfully fizzy and slightly sweet, an irresistible combination that makes it a widespread favorite.
