Lot 279 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Notes: Lot 279 is a gorgeous example of Cabernet grown on the floor of the Napa Valley, lush with cassis and ample blue/black fruit flavors, chewy tannins and velvet like impact. Glorious. Cameron Confidential: Sourced from the well-drained alluvial soils, this wine explodes with rich and ripe, yet elegant, fruit. Classically proportioned one would say. The source winery approached us last fall and we contracted quite a few different 2009 Cabernet’s that they then barreled down for us until we removed them last summer for bottling. This wine is of incredible quality and we are thankful to have found such a great value. At $18 this killer Cab could retail for twice the price.
