Lot 248 Alexander Valley Cabernet 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Notes: Lot 248 is purple/black in color with a sultry smoldering nose infused with toasty oak and cherry. Concentrated black fruit is layered with subtle notes of chaparral. Bold yet refined tannins compliment a fruit-driven finish. Cameron Confidential: Lot 248 hails from some of the most premier vineyard blocks along the eastern slopes of Alexander Valley. A diverse set of micro climates created by the region's complex topography coupled with well drained volcanic soils work to create a wine with supple tannins and complex fruit aromas and flavors. We've blended in a small percentage of Alexander Valley Petite Verdot to help elevate the delicate layers in the nose and to build softness and concentration on the palate.
