User Reviews for Lot 183 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker's Notes:

Notes: Deep, inky crimson in color, aromas present are rich berry and cassis scents with notes of smoke and sweet vanilla. Richly textured and plush, this wine shows bold, ripe fruit flavors of blackberry and black cherry on the palate, supported by a backbone of firm but fine-grained tannins. Balanced oak rounds out a focused, structured wine. Juicy intense fruit carries through to the finish along with silky tannins. Cameron Confidential: Same sourcing as a few other Lots, this wine hails from a high-end winery consortium with multiple facilities in Napa and Sonoma (not to mention OR and WA). Given the high price tag of nearly all of their Napa and Sonoma wines, they have excess fruit each year that they are making into wine for us under our guidance. This is another wine from their reserve program.
