Winemaker's Notes:

Notes: Deep red with an opaque center. Raspberry, blackberry, cinnamon, and mint occupy the nose. Crushed fruit melds with a touch of black pepper within framing acidity on the palate. Complex and structured throughout, dense mid-palate fruit finishes long and polished. Cameron Confidential: Young hillside vineyard on the western reaches of Sonoma Mountain, 800 ft elevation, clay and rock soil, with low yields. All of these aspects couple with a similar climate to the Rhone to produce killer Syrah. The vineyards provide an ideal environment for the slow maturation of Syrah grapes, giving this wine the complexity of a $30 bottle. A terrific value at $13.
