Lot 134 Marlborough New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Notes: A crisp and true expression of Marlborough fruit that is ripe, elegant and soaring in the nose. Ripe grapefruit, minerally acidity and beautiful floral notes spring from the glass. Flashed through neutral oak for about 4 months, the palate has excellent weight and dimension showing tropical fruit, citrus notes, and hints of capsicum. Long finish of guava and grapefruit. Cameron Confidential: This wine retails for $20-22 under the wineries label and I think it is certainly one of the Top 10 (maybe 5) NZ SB’s I have ever had. There were only 4,000 cases produced and we got half of it. Hopefully we will be able to do this on an ongoing basis with the winery.
