Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

User Reviews for Los Vascos Rose

Winemaker's Notes:

The growing season was characterized by favourable weather conditions from bud break to the harvest of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah used to produce this Rosé. The absence of frosts and rain enabled us to obtain grapes in perfect condition. Temperate days and cool nights also enhanced the quality of the fruit and the early harvest resulted in the fresh notes which characterize this wine. The harvest took place from 25 March to 1 April in excellent weather conditions.

Tasting Notes:

This rosé wine has a lovely bright red colour and an abundance of dried fruit aromas with fresh white strawberries, raspberries, pomegranates, redcurrants, lychees and a hint of white chocolate and almonds. On the palate, it is refreshing and well-balanced. Ready for drinking now, as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to dishes such as gazpacho, pizza and paella. Serve chilled, between 11 and 13°C.
