Loring Wine Company Pinot Noir Chalone Brosseau Vineyard 2005
External Reviews for Loring Wine Company Pinot Noir Chalone Brosseau Vineyard
Tightly wound and compact, with taut, intense mineral, blueberry and blackberry flavors that are closed in and need time in bottle. Firmly tannic on the finish. Drink now through 2011.
Good bright, deep red. More complex aromas of red berries, smoke and earth. Rich, ripe and sweet, with blueberry, raspberry and spice flavors nicely framed by harmonious acidity. A step up in thickness and chewiness from the Keefer Ranch. But this also finishes with good brightness and energy.
Medium ruby purple color; deep, earthy, dusty cherry aromas; deep, complex, dusty cherry flavors with earthy notes and a bit of tannin; good structure and balance; long finish. An earthier style, this Pinot nonetheless has nice cherry flavors. Great for an earthier pasta or meat dish.
