Longevity Wines Merlot 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

The Merlot for this wine comes from the hillsides in the Sierra Foothills appellation. In El Dorado County The vineyard is small and meticulously maintained which produces rich and intense fruit. This wine exhibits a dark plum-purple color as well as a big, rich perfume of toffee, mocha, chocolate, espresso roast, and berry fruit. Medium-bodied, pure, and elegant, with and attractive, savory finish. This wine was aged in French oak for almost three years. Drink now or improve with age over the next ten to twelve years.
