DaKine (pronounced Dah-kine) comes from the Pidgin Hawaiian language and is often used to describe a great event. We named this wine DaKine because we wanted to showcase the best that this variety can produce in our region. This Merlot is lush with Black Currant and Blueberry aromas that lead to a generous mid-palate of full and sweet tannins, mocha, liquorice and dark chocolate flavors. The finish is long and slightly spicy, drink it now or age it for the next 7 years. A consistent award winner!
