Loma Larga Pinot Noir Casablanca Valley 2008

Member Review by CheloSpahn:

Purple plum colored. On the nose it reminds me of liquorice, cinnamon and a little bit of pepper, some dark fruit appears at the end such as plum, blackberry and cassis. When I Drink it the tannins explodes to combine with a high acidic taste, caracteristic of this Valley. Spices continues to develop and the back of the mouth. Long finish. Almost perfect Pinot Noir!

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
