Loma Larga Malbec Bg 2006

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

Never been a fan of Malbec on its own, but Emeric Genevier-Montignac poured me a sample today at a tasting and he has made a nice, fruity, rich malbec that I thoroughly enjoyed. Too often the tobacco and leather take over in malbecs from other areas. He grows these in an area uncharacteristic of those varietals and it works. It's a different malbec, but one I noticed many enjoying. Try some if you can find it.
