Loca Linda Torrontes Premier 2016

Member Review by Argovino:

La Rioja is one of the biggest winemaking provinces in Argentina, but its wines rarely make it to American tables. This still rarer liter deserves to – it starts with floral and smoky aromas, then has a nice combination of acid and sweetness with strong citrus flavor. (AV 86, http://argovino.com/?p=817)

Next time you’ve ordered in Chinese or Thai food skip the Riesling and pick up this lovely aromatic Argentine white. With great floral aromas on the nose followed by fresh stone fruit notes on the palate the Loca Linda is instantly likeable. Plus the 1 liter size is perfect for sharing!
