Editorial Reviews for Livio Felluga Tocai Friulano Colli Orientali del Friuli
A fine balanced, if somewhat large scaled Tocai that combines the classic gently herbal aromatics with notes of melon, ruby red grapefruit pith and dry soil tones. In the mouth this is rich and offers up a fine core of almost peachy tones backed up by a nice earthy mineral notes. The finish is a touch short but stays true to the palate. Very refreshing and food friendly. 89pts

Melon and peaches with a great long elegant mineral finish.
Beautifully complex nose of mint, chick pea and bay leaf. Thick, viscous oily character. Really well oaked. Beautiful
Some peach, some spice, and a little buttery. Very delicious.
Stone and tropical fruits on the nose/mouth, mildly sweet with a smooth buttery texture. Would go well with shellfish.
Very good! Variety of fruit, mostly stone. Sweet finish, almost caramely for me.
A wine that leads itself towards finishing the bottle easily. Fresh, fun, beautiful weight and texture, nice lees stiring, clean nose (more floral then fruity) and finish. Great wine

An intense canary yellow with greenish hues. On the nose articulated balsamic, spearmint, green citrus peel, golden apple, and spice. Harmonious flower, fruit and mineral notes on the palate with a typical bitter almond aftertaste integrated pleasantly with grassy flavors. This wine is balanced, elegant and savory with nice acidity.
This blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon delivers impressive aromatic intensity and a beautifully creamy texture. You'll get peach, apricot and soft citrus tones backed by subtle oak shadings and toasted nut. The wine is smooth and polished... Wine Enthusiast. A Proprietary Blend wine from Friuli in Italy. 2006 Livio Felluga Terre Alte 750ml
Wine & Spirits ReviewDark in tone with earthy white peach flavors, this ripe, perfumed white finishes with a soft, gentle texture; for pulpo e patate.Wine Tasting NotesThe most widely planted varietal in the Friulia region, this white wine has a brilliant color of yellow with golden highlights. Its aroma is clean and crisp with fruit concentration ranging from tropical to apricot and orange peel, underlined by delicate floral notes.
