Lisini The farm covers an area of 154 hectares and is located in the southern part of Montalcino, 8 km from it and 1 km from the hamlet of Sant'Angelo in Colle. The happy position of the vineyards, which stretch for nearly 20 hectares, associated with the great quality of the soil cool and porous Eocene, allow an exceptional quality of the grapes which produce one of the best Brunello di Montalcino. In particular, the vineyards open to ocean currents of the Maremma have a special microclimate, very different from other areas of the town, consisting of reduced rainfall and absence of fog. The average altitude of 350 msl vineyards is optimal for the cultivation of Sangiovese Grosso, the only grape variety used in the Company's vineyards. In the years preceding the boom of Brunello di Montalcino, the Lisini Company was known for the quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil product quality that resulted, and still comes, from the same happy geographical and climatic characteristics that determine the quality of the grapes. If the geographic location and exposure of the vineyards play a primary role in the achievement of quality wine, an equally important role is played by the people who have worked for years with passion and dedication in order to keep its products at the highest levels. Food Pairings for Lisini Brunello di Montalcino Ugolaia
Juicy, velvety, flavorful, classically leather, licorice, black and red fruit with touches of smoke, minerals, earth and spices… This superb Brunello is full and formidable, with silky tannins and a mellow, lingering finish.
