Lis Neris Fiore del Campo 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Lis Neris is located just outside the village of San Lorenzo in Friuli, almost equidistant between the Slovenian border to the north and the Izonzo river to the south. Lis Neris has been in the hands of the Pecorari family since 1879 and is run by Alvaro Pecorari. Tocai Friulano, Fiore di Campo is the newcomer to the list. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured on the fine lees for 6 months. It is nicely poised, has splendid balance and is clean and pure, a very sophisticated wine.
