Lirac Blanc la Fermade Domaine Maby 2011
The Lirac ‘La Fermade’ Blanc is a well-balanced, adaptable white wine with good weight and enjoyable aromas of wild flowers and white peaches. The wine exhibits a very pale, clear, slightly green-tinged color. The vineyard for these grapes enjoy warm, dry weather and well-drained limestone and sandstone soils. The wine is fermented and vinified in stainless steel tanks. One often thinks of a typical southern Rhône Lirac as a red with hearty floral scents. However, this white Lirac has all the principal grapes for a great sweet and citrusy wine as it lingers and then fades on the tongue. Truly delicious!
