This blend of Marsanne (65%), Rousanne (30%), and Viognier (5%) is an elegant, unique, almost "ethereal" wine - a secret to share with intimate friends on a warm summer day. Aromas of mineral, green fruit (green apple, kiwi, honeydew melon, and Asian pear), floral, sweet spices and matching flavors with the addition of grapefruit, vanilla and hazelnut are layered over a firm acidity core mellowed by aging in 25% new French oak for 9 months allowing the flavors to marry and develop enjoyable complexity. Bottle aging will improve the wine over the next 2 to 4 years.

The Angel's Share by Lionheart Wines is an excellent alternative to Chardonnay. It has a bit of oak, full malolactic fermentation for a pleasant viscocity and the wine goes very well with food.
The flavor profile reflects the typical flavor profile of high-end white Rhone blends. There is a small amount of Viognier added which gives excellent aromatics and a bit of oiliness in the mouthfeel.
