There are berry, plum and spice mingle with vanillin oak aromas on the nose. This Shiraz is a medium to full bodied red with berry, plum and spice flavours following on the palate. Soft tannins on the finish create a very approachable wine. Enjoy with roast turkey and ham.

Many have already begun to enjoy the virtues of Australian Shiraz (nèe Syrah). For a change of pace from the fruit-laden Rosemount bottling or as a perfect introduction to the genre, Lindemans Bin 50 is an ideal choice. The 2001 manages to capture the fruity intensity of the grape while balancing it with moderate oak and tannin. Perfect with anything grilled.
Lithe, smooth and polished, with pretty blackberry and sweet leather flavors, finishing with a floral note. Drink now through 2008.
Firm in texture, and fleshy enough to put some padding around the blackberry, pepper and vaguely meaty flavors. Finishes fine. Drink now through 2004.
Smooth and round, generous with its plum and berry flavors, finishing with a spicy, slightly pruny note. Drink now.
Grapey and sappy, with almost candied cherry fruit, this is a young wine made to be consumed young. Try chilling it to give the cherry and chocolate flavors greater focus and quaff it with burgers this summer.
Supple and generous with its blackberry and cherry flavors, shaded with black olive and pepper as the finish persists. Drink now through 2010.
Sweet cherry flavors make this a light, peppery red for barbequed meats.
