- Pale green straw in colour. The bouquet shows intense melon and peach Padthaway Chardonnay fruit with the added complexity of barrel fermentation characters and a background of sweet nutty oak. The palate has ripe soft melon varietal fruit flavours with rich, creamy, honeyed characters highlighting the impact of barrel fermentation and extended lees maturation. Full bodied in style, the wine has fine, subtle French oak influence and a balanced structure, finishing clean and dry with long persistent flavours.
