A light-bodied merlot, with pure berry flavors touched by dry tannins in the finish, this would make a good choice for casual suppers.
Lindemans, one of Australia's most successful exporters, is well known for creating varietally true, inexpensive chardonnay in its Bin 65. And although Australia is not known for merlot, Lindemans has set out to change that with its new Bin 40. The wine is simple, smooth and light in the mouth, with enough of the soft, chocolatey richness and herbal elements to define it as merlot. A versatile red.

In der Nase sehr blumig. Im Gaumen sehr zart, die Tannine sind gut integriert. Trotz des tollen Preis-Genuss-Verhältnisses dieses Weins, zeigt er doch viel Finesse. Ein wunderbarer Wein, der jetzt bereits genossen werden kann, sich aber durchaus für eine weitere Lagerung eignet. Schmeichelnder Abgang.

Delicious red berry flavors are supported by darker, earthier tones in this medium-bodied, elegant wine.
