Lieb Family Cellars Pinot Blanc North Fork Reserve 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

"What is it about pinot blanc? It would be easy to dismiss this wine as nondescript, as it doesn't offer a cornucopia of fruity adjectives in a glass. Yet it is simply delicious: dry and creamy with lightly herbal, mineral flavors. The texture draws you in." N.Y.Times 8/22/12The wine is stainless steel fermented and therefore is crisp and clean with aromas of ripe citrus, peach and pear, the palate is complex with hints of tangerine and floral notes. The finish is long and elegant with a clean crispness and hint of minerals.

Great acidity and a touch of sweetness make this Long Island wine a nice choice with a variety of foods.
