Winemaker's Notes:

Our grapes come from the Red Rock Vineyard of Calaveras County, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range just east of Stockton at about 3,500 feet in elevation. Deep volcanic mineral soils combined with warm days and cool nights contribute to the wine's character. Hand picked and cool fermented. Barrel aged in 20% new French oak.

Tasting Notes:

Ah, defiance at its most delicious! An exquisitely balanced blend of our finest grapes all rolled into one sexy long-necked beauty. Polished, supple tannins step aside to allow the ripe flavors of cherry and blackberry to intermingle with sumptuous notes of cedar and toasted spice. Perfect to air with your next rebellious uprising or rendezvous for two.
