Liberty School Chardonnay 2011
2011 Liberty School Chardonnay has a brilliant pale-lemon color and soft aromas of citrus fruit and freshly sliced Granny Smith apples. The bright acidity seamlessly coalesces with the wine's refreshingly sumptuous flavors of lime, apples, pear and butterscotch. A full and rich mouth feel lends to excellent structure and culminates with a long and clean finish.
Rich, full and ripe. Shows all of the classic California chardonnay attributes - pear, apple, citrus, toffee and caramel notes finishing fresh and crisp. The addition of 5% Viognier and 5% Marsanne has given this wine an added complexity and lift that it lacked in previous vintages. Very cool! 93pts.
Bright pale yellow colour. Pear, stone fruit, citrus/lime and apple combine with subtle oak and butter notes- lots of fruit well balanced with acidity. Medium-long length and slightly tangy finish.
