A bit reticent on the nose with some pencil shavings and lots of tart red fruit. A bit soft in the mouth and broad. lacking a bit of acidic brightness though this does deliver lots of black cherry and black currant fruit with a nice toasty oak base note and some peppery spice on the backend. The finish is almost non-existent with dry powdery tannins being the main feature. This is easy drinking and easy to understand but a bit ordinary. 83pts

Well-balanced, wonderful wine--especially for its price.
Somewhat restrained but very fruit forward on the nose with lots of fresh blackberry/blueberry and some slight herbaceous leafy notes. Maybe sweet black licorice notes, too. A simple and very juicy wine on the palate with lots of ripe tannins. Some acidity, but I felt like it could have used more to make it "pop", if that makes sense. Fairly long length.
They say don't judge by the label, but in this case my hunch that I was starting in on a some mediocre California slosh turned out to be correct. Sugary and lacking in character and interesting flavors. Blekh.
Berry, chocolate and tobacco. Slight sweet finish. Low tannins and smooth mouth feel. Nothing spectacular here, very average. Would not purchase again.

This is a fine Cabernet to drink with burgers, Mexican food, beef stew or skirt steak. Soft and sweet, it has flavors of blackberries and cherries, plus a just-right jacket of smoky oak and a smooth, spicy finish.
A gentle take on cabernet — not exactly lean, but definitely restrained. Plummy and supple with a black olive savor, it’s made for roast beef.
