Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
The 2008 Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon offers up-front aromas of ripe red fruit, followed by similar vibrant and rich berry flavors. Silky but firm tannins lend excellent structure, while maintaining a soft approachability reflective of Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine has a lasting and flavorful finish. Its fruit-driven style lends ease to food-pairing.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
Nice berries up front. Short finish and soft tannins. Great wine for the price.
Excellent follow-up to the 2007! Shows lots of pretty plum, dark berry & cassis, along with an interesting herbal/spice character that keeps quite lively on the palate. 92pts.
Enjoyed this wine with my grilled steaks tonite. Very smooth, full flavored cab...but not overbearing. Drinkable on a regular basis. :-)
Great everyday wine nothing outstanding but very dependable quality you know you will enjoy a simple wine

Lots of richness and complexity in this lovely wine, which has flavors of ripe blackberries, cassis, roasted coffee, herbs and smoky oak. Itrsquo;s quite dry, with a good grip of tannin.
Great price for a Cabernet this nice. Itrsquo;s dry, smooth and classic in blackberry and currant flavors, with a deft touch of smoky oak. Just a bit too acidic; a rich steak will help.
