A bit of what GV would call 'poopy' on the nose and palate with this bottle. Not a bad thing, but wasn't quite as enjoyable as previous bottles.

Decanted 30 min. Color: Dark, dark maroon, almost black, all the way to the rim. Nose: Wow! Great notes of black cherry, chocolate and blueberry. Palate: Smooth. Big mouthcoating flavors of black cherries and blueberries with dusty tannins. Finish: Long, redolent of chocolate and blueberry. Quite dry, but makes my mouth water at the same time. Seriously glad I decided to pick up 2 bottles of this. Outstanding - 90 points.

Decanted 2 hours. Earthiness on the nose, just lovely aromas of dark fruits and chocolate. Blueberry, black cherry, and definite terrior on the palate. Quite pleased I picked up another 6-pack of this. Outstanding - 90 points.

Decanted 30 min. Consistent with prior tasting notes. Lots of sediment, decanting/filtering recommended.

Decanted 30 min. Palate is somewhat dead due to a cold, but this one still pulled through. Just what I needed! Strong enough fruit to make it through my sickness-deadened taste buds, with some nice earth in there too. I love toro wines!

Earthiness overwhelmed most of the other flavors, but this was a pop-and-pour. Recommend decant on this wine. Lovely fruit once the earth blew off, about an hour after being open. Outstanding - 90 points.
