Lewis Cuvee L 1997
we've created a pole-position wine that is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet Franc. Cedar and oak spices with blackberry, vanilla and espresso ignite with a final turn of the corkscrew. Black fruit coats the pistons while high-octane tannins, like fuel injection, propel the wine with power and precision to a finish that goes on long after the checkered flag.
In 1992, Debbie and Randy Lewis established a small family winery with their son Dennis. Total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. We are literally hands-on in every aspect of vineyard management, winemaking, sales and distribution, and we thrive on this challenge and the relationships we cultivate in the process. It is our continuing goal to create world class wines.
