Lewis Cellars Syrah Napa Valley Vin Gris 2012
Floral ripe strawberry, fragrant yellow peach and subtle minerality combine deliciously in this refreshing young wine. Fermented and aged three months in neutral French oak and stainless steel, sweet, mouth-filling strawberry fruit turns succulent and lively with a hint of pomegranate and oak spice en route to a long, fresh finish. 150 cases produced.
In 1992, Debbie and Randy Lewis established a small family winery with their son Dennis. Total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. We are literally hands-on in every aspect of vineyard management, winemaking, sales and distribution, and we thrive on this challenge and the relationships we cultivate in the process. It is our continuing goal to create world class wines.
