Lewis Cellars Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon United States California Napa County Red 2006
In 1992, Debbie and Randy Lewis established a small family winery with their son Dennis. Total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. We are literally hands-on in every aspect of vineyard management, winemaking, sales and distribution, and we thrive on this challenge and the relationships we cultivate in the process. It is our continuing goal to create world class wines.

Marked by lavish display of flashy, toasty vanilla bean oak and a tasty core of ripe currant, black cherry and wild berry. A burst of ripe fruit and seductive oak return on the finish. Best from 2006 through 2013.
Pure, rich and focused on a beam of ripe plum, cherry and currant, with touches of anise and cedar. Deliciously complex, deep and persistent, ending with ripples of rich, creamy flavors. Drink now through 2015.
(Barrel tasting) Gorgeous fruit and oak. Beautiful balance, focus and purity of fruit, with rich, plush currant, black cherry, blackberry and floral aromas and flavors.
Another winner for Lewis and a good cellar bet. Ultrarich and creamy, a potent statement about Cabernet, with pretty currant, black cherry, blackberry, mocha and a touch of leather flavors. Intense, deep, complex and concentrated, with a strong finish and well-integrated tannins. Best from 2003 through 2012.
The former Indy car racer turned cult wine producer makes another winner.
A beauty! This opaque purple-colored Cabernet boasts an explosive bouquet of crushed plums, crème de cassis, licorice, Asian spices, and graphite. Full-bodied, sweet, and exuberantly fruity with surprisingly good acidity, it deftly balances power and juicy fruit with freshness and vibrancy. It should drink well for 15-18 years. Bravo!
