Lewis Cellars Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
Winemaker's Notes:
Light yields from a small collection of hillside and benchland vineyards in Calistoga, Rutherford and Oak Knoll created this finely woven, richly rendered Cabernet. Fragrantly ripe black and blue fruits are enhanced with molasses, clove and creamy oak spices. Brightly focused on entry a fleshy almost kirsch-like quality develops mid-palate with smoky mineral notes. Rustic power develops at the finish with a flourish of fine tannins and malt chocolate. Not yet reviewed; 2009 vintage rated 94 points by Wine Spectator.

In 1992, Debbie and Randy Lewis established a small family winery with their son Dennis. Total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. We are literally hands-on in every aspect of vineyard management, winemaking, sales and distribution, and we thrive on this challenge and the relationships we cultivate in the process. It is our continuing goal to create world class wines.
