Lewis' 2010 bottling of Mason's Cabernet is packed with youth and exuberance. Like a fresh-baked pastry with berry filling the wine is full of jammy fruit and loaded with chocolate cherry and savory oak spices. The palate is high-energy with bright flavors and a hint of red licorice before youthful tannins sprint to a tidy finish. 525 cases produced.
In 1992, Debbie and Randy Lewis established a small family winery with their son Dennis. Total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. We are literally hands-on in every aspect of vineyard management, winemaking, sales and distribution, and we thrive on this challenge and the relationships we cultivate in the process. It is our continuing goal to create world class wines.
