Lewis Cellars Chardonnay Napa Valley Reserve 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

Sonoma Chardonnay from Dutton and Ritchie vineyards is crafted from gnarly old Russian River Valley vines in deep, sandy loam soils. Ripe citrus and apricot fruit aromas are overlain with sexy sandalwood spice. Framed in smoky, toasty oak and loaded with ripe fruitful flavors, the wine is balanced, rich, and persistent, with trademark Meyer lemon zest on the finish

Lewis Cellars:
In 1992, Debbie and Randy Lewis established a small family winery with their son Dennis. Total production is approximately 9,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. We are literally hands-on in every aspect of vineyard management, winemaking, sales and distribution, and we thrive on this challenge and the relationships we cultivate in the process. It is our continuing goal to create world class wines.
